Women’s awareness of their rights and responsibilities within a family and career is essential to preventing them from being subjugated by others or an unjust system. Apart from that, women’s comprehension of their rights and responsibilities is also imperative for their happiness and well-balanced lives. In line with the government’s aspiration to empower women, this study examines the extent to which Muslim women workers at UNITEN and UPNM are aware of their rights and responsibilities within their families and careers. The aim is to ensure that Muslim women workers strive to understand their rights and responsibilities better to achieve a balance between their families and careers. This study is quantitative, using a survey instrument involving 290 respondents from various backgrounds. Meanwhile, SPSS version 23 software was applied to analyse the survey. This study found that overall, Muslim women workers in UNITEN and UPNM have a high awareness of their rights and responsibilities towards their families and careers. However, several important aspects regarding women workers’ awareness of the provisions of the law and policies related to women need to be addressed.
