The encouragement proposed by the university to implement blended learning (BL), flipped learning, and problem-based learning (PBL) methods in teaching and learning programmes (PdP) drives the Tahfiz Programme at UNITEN to implement those methods in teaching Tahfiz subjects. This study was conducted to look at the implementation of BL in general at UNITEN as well as the application of digital innovation enhancement in teaching and learning specifically for the Tahfiz Programme at UNITEN. This is a qualitative study that employs observation and document analysis methods related to the implementation of digital technology in selected subjects under the Tahfiz Programme. There are four BL applications implemented in UNITEN, namely Technology-Aided Learning, Enhanced Learning, Flipped Teaching and Learning and Adaptive Learning. The results of the analysis found that there are four forms of digital innovation applied in the Tahfiz programme. The four items are: uploading course materials in Moodle; audio-visual materials from various sources such as PowToon, Panopto, and YouTube; continuous assessment on the Moodle platform; and online activities using various mediums such as Kahoot, Padlet, Coggle, Mentimeters, and Plickers. This effort can shape the PdP of tahfiz studies to be more effective, interesting, and in line with current developments and learning needs, as well as shaping an outstanding generation.
